Growing up in Colorado—between all the skiing, backpacking, and camping trips—I have been constantly surrounded by some of the most beautiful things. I first started photography in an effort to capture these sorts of moments and sights, eventually finding myself loving the process of doing so.
Photography seems like such an impossible thing to me. How can a simple photo keep us so close to our memories, reminding us of the emotions and smiles and joys of a moment? How can a mere sensor uncover the immense and hidden beauty of the night sky?
It’s amazing.
My hope as a photographer is to capture this sort of beauty in all things, all while helping others to see, find, and retain it.
